While it’s inherently cool that this show was held in Westminster Abbey cloisters, it’s also…a bit weird. Even for me. Being perfectly honest, the shoes are the best thing about this show – everything else is all over the place with prints, animal motifs, t-shirts and plaid suits…oh my. Though, it can be said that these models certainly are a clique – unity in disunity is a strong theme going for it. Initially, I thought if this is resort, then I have no clue in hell where they’re vacationing – but midway through I see they’re going to a British punk-rock club back in the 80’s, and their ride will be an underground rockabilly-mobile. That’s okay. Still very nice pieces steal the show – flowy dresses, metallic suits, high creepers, bright conservative coats, lace leggings, acid burnout jeans-pants, ruffled suits and emblematic animal motifs abound.
